Washington County scored 50 or more points for the seventh consecutive game last week in its 73-28 victory over Jackson of Atlanta. That ties Southeast Bulloch's 1972 streak for the second-longest in GHSA history. Which 2011 team holds the state record of eight in a row? (Answer Wednesday)
Answer to Monday's question: Brookwood was the other school, with Sequoyah, that has beaten two 10-0 opponents in the first round of the state playoffs since 1996, when the playoffs expanded to 32 teams in each class. Brookwood defeated Lassiter in 2012 and McEachern in 2009. Sequoyah beat Lanier in 2014 and Tucker in 2001.
