In 1993, Thomas County Central defeated Thomasville 14-12 in one of the first Georgia state championship games between region opponents. It became possible only beginning in 1990, when the GHSA allowed more than one region qualifier in the state playoffs. Which other Region 1-AAA team defeated both Thomasville and Thomas County Central in the regular season? Note: The three teams finished ranked No. 1, No. 2 and No. 3 in the final rankings, as noted in the Daily List on Monday. (Answer Wednesday)

Answer to Monday's question: Carroll County schools that have won state titles are 1971 Bowdon, 1986 Villa Rica, 1986 Central, 1987 Central and 1992 Bowdon.
