Pierce County defeated Jenkins 64-62 in three overtimes last week. Jenkins' 62 points are the third-most ever scored in defeat in a GHSA game. Here are the 20 games in state history in which the losing team has scored 51 points or more. Until 2004, when Calvary Day beat McIntosh Academy 55-54 in double overtime, it had never happened. The record of 68 points, set by South Cobb later that year, required seven overtimes.
