Lassiter 13, Walton 7

How the game was won: After two straight loses, the Trojans were looking to get back into the win column. Lassiter used a 35-yard field goal to take an early 3-0 lead. Walton answered with a touchdown to gain a 7-3 lead, but just before the half Lassiter's Bradley Riopelle linked up with Dawson Brown for a 70-yard touchdown pass and gave Lassier the 10-7 lead. Carsten Link extended the Trojan lead to 13-6 with a third quarter field goal to clinch the win.

Top Performers: Link hit two field goals on the night, which proved to be the difference. Riopelle completed his only touchdown pass of the night to Brown.

Allatoona 29, Sequoyah 7

How the game was won: Allatoona took care of business on homecoming after Sequoyah hung around in the first half, playing the Buccaneers to a 0-0 draw after the first period and then trailing at the half 14-7. A Charles Anderson third quarter touchdown proved to put the game officially out of reach for a Chiefs offense that couldn't find its footing.

Top Performers: Adrian Boyd found the end zone to give Allatoona a 7-0 lead with 8:59 to play in the second quarter. Sequoyah quickly answered back on a Collier Pecht post pass to Cole Jacobs at the 6:30 mark.
