How the game was won: Heading into the fourth quarter up just a point at 21-20, Commerce chipped away in the final frame to seal the deal 35-20. Cole Chancey’s second touchdown of the game, a 46-yarder with 1:17 remaining, put the game away.
Top Performers: Cole Chancey scored on a 1-yard run and a 46-yarder. Will Thomas scored on touchdown runs of 15 and three yards. Lane Sorrow broke through for a 4-yarder. Taylor County received two short touchdown runs from Lyn-J Dixon. Gunnar Watson tossed a 1-yard touchdown to Tri-Kevion Hadley as time expired heading into the half.
How the game was won: This second round match was over soon after it began. Clinch County got on the scoreboard first with an 11-yard touchdown by Charles McClelland. Mitchell County responded with a 62-yard touchdown run by Kentravius Williams. To take the lead for good Clinch's Trezman Marshall scored on a 4th and 1. Clinch County would score five more touchdowns to Mitchell's one before the final buzzer.
Top performers: Clinch County's McClleland ran for two touchdowns and threw a 7-yard touchdown pass to Jerrod Jones. Trezman Marshall had seven tackles and three touchdowns while also completing a 40-yard touchdown pass to Jones. Mitchell County's Kentravius Williams had six carries for 98 yards and a touchdown.

How the game was won: This game saw lots of action with no score until deep into the second quarter when Mount Zion scored on a 73-yard touchdown pass from Jordan Akin to Jace Jordan. Irwin County would score before the quarter ended and Mt. Zion clung to a 10-7 halftime lead. Irwin County outscored the Eagles 27-7 in the second half.
