AA in brief: No change in rankings

By Adam Krohn
Sept 19, 2017

The updated Class AA top 10 is in but there are no updates to it. Every team maintained its ranking from the previous week, and for good reason. The seven ranked teams that played on Friday won by an average of 52-15 and produced two shutouts, two teams that scored more than 70 points, another that scored more than 60 and one that topped 50.

Simply put, it was a dominating week for AA's top 10 teams.

For a breakdown of AA games played in Week 5, go here.

Here's a glimpse at the updated rankings, with the previous week's rankings in parenthesis:

1. (1) Benedictine (4-0)

2. (2) Hapeville Charter (3-1)

3. (3) Screven County (3-0)

4. (4) Rabun County (3-0)

5. (5) Callaway (4-0)
