1) Thomasville (18-1, 6-1 Region 1): The Bulldogs bounced back from their Saturday loss to No. 2 Seminole County with region wins this week over Fitzgerald (57-41) and Berrien (59-42). This is a busy week for them, playing four games and closing with with league foe Pelham (6-7, 2-4) on Friday and AAAA's Cairo (2-18) on Saturday.

2) Seminole County (13-4, 5-1 R1): The Indians are up a spot in the rankings after beating Thomasville last week but then losing to AAAA's Bainbridge their next time out. They rebounded with a 77-54 win over Miller County in a non-region game. They close out their week on Friday with a league game at Brooks County (8-10, 3-4).

3. Crawford County (15-2, 7-0 R4): The Eagles lost to AAAAA's Northside 98-80 last week, but move up a spot in the rankings nonetheless. They edged Macon County 76-69 in league play on Tuesday and close the week with two more region contests against Bleckley County (6-9, 3-4) and Putnam County (2-18, 2-5).

4. Lovett (13-4, 7-1 R6): The Lions dropped two spots in the rankings after losing to region rival Pace 53-40 last week. They rebounded nicely with an 80-40 victory over BEST on Tuesday in league play and close the week with a region contest at Holy Innocents' (14-5, 5-4), followed by a non-league game against A's Mount Pisgah (5-12).

5. GAC (12-8, 7-2 R6): The Spartans dropped yet another region game on Tuesday, this one coming to No. 9 Pace Academy by a score of 42-39. Their loss reinforces the notion they are not the force they've been in recent memory, in which they've seen a run of four state titles in the past six seasons. The loss all but guarantees a slip in the rankings and possibly knocks them out of the top 10 altogether. They close out the week with a league game against Hapeville Charter (7-11, 2-7).

6. Chattooga (18-1, 6-1 R7): The Indians are riding a 15-game win streak into Friday's region contest against Dade County (6-14, 1-7). That matchup is the only game for the Indians this week.

7. Manchester (13-5, 5-0 R5): The Blue Devils are off to an impressive 2-0 start to the week with a non-region win over AAAAA's No. 10-ranked Shaw (87-82) and a key region win over second-place Temple 65-62. Their week ends on Friday with a league game against Heard County (10-9, 3-2).

8. Vidalia (17-2, 10 R2): Up a spot in the rankings, the Indians beat region foe Bacon County 74-44 on Tuesday and finish the week with a region matchup against McIntosh County Academy (2-16, 1-9) and a non-league game against Region 3's Swainsboro (10-6).

9. Pace Academy (9-8, 7-1 R6): The Knights enter the rankings despite an underwhelming overall record, because they're holding their own in league play. Their current seven-game win streak includes region wins over then-No. 8-ranked Holy Innocents', No. 4 Lovett and No. 5 GAC. After a region contest against KIPP (6-7, 1-7) on Friday, they play a highly anticipated game on Saturday against North Carolina's No. 1 overall ranked team according to MaxPreps, High Point Christian Academy, in the Peachtree Corners Invitational at Norcross High.

10: Early County (14-4, 4-2 R1): After a one-week layoff, the Bobcats take the court on Saturday for a league game at Pelham (6-7, 2-4). That's their only game this week.
