Carlos Brown rushed for 4,232 yards and scored 52 touchdowns in his career at Heard County. That might be enough to make him his school's best player in history, but it was more than his rushing skills that stood out for a player who would become an AJC Super 11 pick and four-year letterman at Michigan.

Brown also had more than 200 tackles and 11 interceptions on defense. As a senior, he played quarterback and rushed for 1,512 yards. He also once made all-state as a kickoff returner.
