How the game was won: Russell Halimon had a 34-yard touchdown run and Brandon Rainey had a one-yard score to give visiting Allatoona a 14-point lead in the fourth quarter. South Paulding scored on an 80-yard screen pass on the next possession, but Allatoona was able to run out the clock after getting the ball back.

Top performers: Halimon rushed 34 times for 253 and one score. As a team, Allatoona rushed for 343 yards. … Rainey rushed for 73 yards and two one-yard touchdowns, his other score coming in the first quarter, and he was 3-for-5 passing for 37 yards. … Skyler Davis hit a 24-yard field goal in the third quarter to pull Allatoona to within one point, 11-10.
