A rundown of every Georgia Tech player who was in an NFL camp. Spoiler alert: Calvin Johnson survived the cut to make the Detroit Lions' 53-man roster.

Jeremiah Attaochu, OLB, Chargers – Second-round pick in 2014, could potentially develop into an every-down player rather than a pass-rush specialist.

T.J. Barnes, DT, Jets – Made roster, likely a backup nose tackle

Morgan Burnett, S, Packers – Going into fourth season as Packers starter.

Mario Butler, CB, Bills – Made roster. Undrafted out of Tech in 2011, on his third NFL team. Has played one NFL game.

Kevin Cone, WR, Dolphins – Cut in cutdown to 75-man roster Aug. 30. Had started camp with Cleveland, but was cut by Browns Aug. 3. Has been on four different practice squads.

Emmanuel Dieke, DE, Dolphins – Cut Saturday, had spent most of last season on Dolphins' practice squad.

Andrew Gardner, OL, Eagles – Made team, with sixth team going into seventh season, but could be the opening-day starter at right guard. Eagles start season in Georgia Dome vs. Falcons on Monday night (Sept. 14).

Stephen Hill, WR, Panthers – Was waived/injured after tearing his ACL early in camp, days after being cited for possession of drug paraphernalia. (A player who is waived/injured can be claimed by another team in the 24 hours after his release, but, if not, is put on the team's injured-reserve list.)

Calvin Johnson, WR, Lions – Rested throughout preseason, hoping to play his first 16-game season since 2012, when he set an NFL record for receiving yards with 1,694.

Isaiah Johnson, S, Lions – Cut on Saturday, signed to practice squad Sunday. Lions lead league in players with last name Johnson from Sandy Creek High School (two).

Michael Johnson, DE, Bengals – After re-signing with team as free agent in offseason, missed nearly entire preseason with knee injury.

Zach Laskey, FB, Rams – Cut on Saturday, signed to practice squad Sunday.

Shaquille Mason, G, Patriots – Fourth-round pick is a possibility to start for Patriots.

Derrick Morgan, OLB, Titans – Coming off best season of career (6.5 sacks, 63 tackles), he'll play on new contract (four years, $27 million, $6 million signing bonus).

Quayshawn Nealy, LB, Seahawks – Cut on 75-player cutdown.

DeAndre Smelters, WR, 49ers – Placed on reserve/non-football injury list last Monday as he recovers from ACL tear. Can't return for first six weeks of the season.

Daryl Smith, LB, Ravens – Made team, going into 12th NFL season. Has started every game for past two years, has 125 tackles in that time.

Rod Sweeting, CB, Cowboys – Was cut by Buffalo during camp, signed by Dallas, then waived/injured this weekend. Sweeting made Saints roster in 2013 as undrafted free agent.

Demaryius Thomas, WR, Broncos – ESPN ranked Thomas the No. 18 player in the NFL. He has had double-digit TD seasons each of the past three years.

Jemea Thomas, DB, Titans – Cut Friday by the Titans. As a rookie in 2014, was with New England, Dallas, St. Louis and Tennessee in camp or practice squad.

Vance Walker, DE, Broncos – Free-agent signing in offseason has versatility, will likely start season as backup.

Darren Waller, WR, Ravens – Made roster as sixth-round pick after strong preseason. One of four former Tech players in Broncos-Ravens season opener.

Brandon Watts, LB, Vikings – Was cut after making roster last year as seventh-round pick, added to practice squad.

Philip Wheeler, LB, 49ers – Offseason signee was cut Friday. In seven NFL seasons, has played in 108 games, starting 60.

Louis Young, CB, Panthers – Cut Saturday and signed to practice squad Sunday. Was on three different practice squads last season, including Carolina.
