1. Stanford transfer Patrick Skov arrived to campus on Friday following his graduation from Stanford June 14. Skov will pursue an MBA and compete for a starting B-back job.
Skov's arrival will give him time this summer to work with quarterback Justin Thomas, in particular to hone their technique going through the mesh on triple-option plays.
On his Instagram account, Skov posted an impressive picture from his graduation from Stanford.

Aside from her duties on the College Football Playoff committee, Condoleezza Rice is a professor in Stanford’s graduate school of business.
Albertson makes pro debut
Two-time ACC champion Anders Albertson began his professional career this past week at the New Bern (N.C.) Pro Classic, an event on the Swingthought.com Tour, a lower-tier tour.
Albertson finished in a tie for 15th at 10-under 278, earning himself $2,151.
Heyward's younger brother offered
My colleague Michael Carvell reported Monday that Connor Heyward, the younger brother of Tech basketball guard Corey Heyward, has received a football scholarship offer. Heyward, who is a rising senior at Peachtree Ridge, will play quarterback this fall.
Corey and Connor's brother is Pittsburgh Steelers defensive end Cameron Heyward. Their father is the late Craig Heyward, the Pro Bowl fullback.
Stansbury hired as Oregon State AD
Oregon State hired Tech grad Todd Stansbury as its athletic director last week. Stansbury lettered in football in 1981 and earned an industrial management degree in 1984. He later served as assistant AD at Tech 1990-95. He had previously served as AD at Central Florida, where his interim replacement is another former Tech employee of note – football coach George O'Leary.
Stansbury is among the highest-ranking sports administrators to graduate from Tech. Two others are Jaime Weston-Parouse, who is NFL vice president of brand and creative and a former Tech volleyball player in the early '90s, and Baltimore Ravens senior vice president of football administration Pat Moriarty, who lettered as a running back 1973-77.
Movie site moved
Because of the re-sodding of the Bobby Dodd Stadium following the Rolling Stones concert, the Dodd After Dark movie screening this Friday has been moved to Mewborn Field, Tech's softball diamond. The movie Friday will be "The Imitation Game." Gates to Mewborn Field will open at 7 p.m. Limited concessions will be available. For more details, check the Tech website.
The final movie in the series is July 10, Furious 7.
“The Sting” will have to wait till next summer.
