The Atlanta Journal-Constitution is counting down the Top 50 players in Atlanta Falcons history during the franchise’s 50th anniversary season. No. 12 is wide receiver Roddy White.

Years played for Falcons: Roddy White has spent all 11 of his NFL season with the Atlanta Falcons. Since being drafted in 2005 he has reached four Pro Bowls and is currently the Falcons all-time leader in receiving yards. White has also helped Atlanta reach the playoffs four times during his tenure.

His impact on the team: White is the Falcons all-time leading receiver with 10,739 yards entering this weekend's game at Jacksonville. White has also hauled in 799 receptions and 63 touchdowns in his career through 13 games of the 2015 season. White went to four straight Pro Bowls from 2008-2011 and was named All-Pro in 2010 after leading the NFL in receptions (115) and finishing second in receiving yards (1,389). White followed up the 2010 season by finishing second in receptions (115) the following year. White was Matt Ryan's primary target his first five seasons as a starting quarterback.

On winning a Super Bowl in Atlanta soon: "I'm a football player and a competitor at the end of the day, so my mindset is always to win football games, set ourselves up for playoff games, and try to make it to the Super Bowl. I felt like we had some good chances. We had some good teams that were right there at that point." (ESPN)

Where he is now: White, 34, is now in his 11th season with the Falcons organization and signed a four-year deal worth up to $30 million to stay in Atlanta at the beginning of the 2014 season. White along with Julio Jones have created a dynamic wide receiver duo since Jones entered into the league in 2011 though he has not been a main target of Ryan this season with just 34 catches for 382 yards and one TD.
