PHILADELPHIA -- Here are five things to know about the Falcons on Monday:
1. Still in first place. The Falcons remain in first place in the NFC South with a 6-4 record and have a game and a half lead over Tampa Bay (4-5) and New Orleans (4-5).
2. Neal expected to be fined. Rookie Keanu Neal's hit on Eagles wide receiver Jordan Matthews will likely draw a fine from the league office because he led with his helmet.
3. Buzz about under-reported injuries. There was a lot of chatter in the press box about the injuries to cornerback Desmond Trufant and tight end Jacob Tamme being more serious than the team is reporting and that both players will require surgeries if they indeed have a pectoral tear and A/C joint shoulder separation. The team has simply called them vague "shoulder" injuries.
4. Jones' bye week plan. All-Pro wide receiver Julio Jones plans to stay around metro Atlanta for the bye week and rest his body.
5. Blown fourth quarter leads. The Falcons have now blown three fourth-quarter leads this season. The Falcons led the Seahawks, Chargers and the Eagles in the fourth quarter before going down to defeat.
