HOUSTON -- Here's what Falcons defensive tackle Jonathan Babineaux had to say to the media at the Super Bowl:
(on what it is like being a veteran on a younger defense) "You know what, it's been cool. It's like having little brothers. They're determined, they're hungry, they play the game fast like it's supposed to be and every week I look forward to them going out and producing and having fun with them."
(on if he and DE Dwight Freeney had to seek out to help the younger guys, or did they look to them for help) "As a veteran, you have experience and Dwight has a lot more experience than I do, but as a big brother, I took up that role. I want my little brothers to be successful. I do whatever it takes, whatever they ask me I'll try to do my best to make sure that they're being successful on the field."
(on what the biggest lesson is that he tries to teach those young players about this week and everything dealing with the Super Bowl) "This week is no different. Of course, we're doing this media thing today. Just think about it as an open locker room that we have on a daily basis for 45 minutes. There's just a lot more reporters here now than we have in our locker room."
(on how to stop Brady) "Tom Brady is a future Hall-of-Fame quarterback. It's hard to stop a guy like that (who) knows defenses. He's seen it all. The thing that we have to do is rattle him and make sure he's not comfortable in the pocket."
(on if people are forgetting about the Falcons defense) "The media likes to portray whatever they want to portray. I think as a defense over the last month-and-half, we've been playing lights-out. It doesn't matter what we've done over the course of the year. It matters what we've been doing week-to-week and we've been getting better."
