The Falcons had a dime defense with three safeties (William Moore, Dwight Lowery and Ishmael), three cornerbacks (Desmond Trufant, Robert Alford and Robert McClain), four lineman (Corey Peters, Osi Umenyiora, Kroy Biermann and Jonathan Babineaux) and one linebacker (Paul Worrilow).

At the snap, the Falcons presented seven men along the line of scrimmage and four back in coverage.

At the snap, Biermann and Lowery dropped into coverage. McClain, Peters, Umenyiora, Worrlow and Babineaux rushed the passer. Peters got penetration and forced the pass that was intended for Tampa Bay wide receiver Vincent Jackson.

Ishmael stepped in front of the pass and returned it 23 yards for the touchdown. Matt Bryant’s extra point kick made it 21-0.

The rout was in session after Ishmael's big play as the Falcons went on to open a 56-0 lead. It was Ishmael's first interception of his career.
