Falcons sign tryout player Meredith

FLOWERY BRANCH   The Falcons  signed San Diego State defensive end Sam Meredith on Monday.

Meredith, 6-4, 290 pounds, received a tryout during the rookie minicamp which was held Friday through Sunday.
The Falcons signed tryout players In cornerback Jonathon Mincy and offensive tackle Mark Huffer on Sunday. 
To make roster space for the new signees, the Falcons waived defensive tackle Chris Brown, cornerback Jordan Ozerities, and wide receiver Joshua Stangby on Sunday.
Mincy, of Decatur, played at Auburn and Southwest DeKalb High.
