One of Georgia’s top defensive backs visited Georgia Tech on Friday.
Marlon Character is a 4-star defensive back from Grady High School who committed to South Carolina over Auburn this past weekend.
Despite his commitment, Character toured at Georgia Tech on Friday.
“Yes, just a quick stop by,” Character told the AJC.
What made Character visit Tech? “Just curious. Never been on campus.”
The 6-foot-, 170-pounder is rated as the state’s No. 22 overall prospect.
