Vandarius Cowan (Randy Schafer/Special to AJC)
Even though he is committed to Florida State, Vandarius Cowan said his visit to UGA was better than any other school he has been to. He told the AJC why that was.
“Because of the coaches and players,” he said.
Cowan, a 4-star defensive end from Palm Beach Gardens (Fla.) High School, attended UGA's Dawg Night prospect camp this weekend. Cowan was seen hanging out with UGA commit Tyrique McGhee for the majority of the event.
When specifically asked what made his visit to UGA better than his visit last month to Florida State, the 2017 prospect declined to answer the question.
The Seminoles commit posted on his Twitter account on Monday night that his weekend in Athens was the best campus visit he has experienced so far.
The 6-foot-3, 221-pounder committed to FSU last month after attending a summer camp with the Seminoles.
