The results of Dawg Night are continuing to trickle in. The nation's No. 9 tight end saw enough at Dawg Night to come back for a big return trip.Jacob Mathis — a 4-star tight end from Tampa — has told the AJC that the Bulldogs will get one of his five official visits.
“UGA will be an official,” said the 4-star tight end out of Tampa, Fla. “Haven’t set the date yet.”

He told the AJC over the weekend his Dawg Night trip rated a "10" but the decision to take an official visit has been aided by constant pitches from 2016 commitments Jacob Eason and Chauncey Manac.
“They let me know that something special is brewing in Athens and I need to be a part of it,” Mathis said. “They also tell me to commit.”
Those two future Bulldogs – along with the UGA coaching staff – would welcome him to the squad.
“They do a great job of letting me know I’m wanted in Athens,” Mathis said.
His 247sports player page credits him with 30 offers and eight of those are from SEC schools. Florida was regarded as his leader, followed by Miami, Michigan and Ohio State.
Mathis also said he had a great camp at UGA. He was throwing up all day, but he said he didn't drop any balls, ran good routes and felt "unstoppable" out there.
He was also impressed with the amount of talent in Athens on Saturday night. South Carolina recruit Bryan Edwards told the AJC that it felt like "The Opening: Part II" at UGA that night.
Mathis would agree.
“(That camp) was the most talented camp a school has put on,” he said.
