UGA made the top 10 list released

for Antwuan Jackson, one of the nation’s top defensive tackles.

But UGA fans already knew that if they read

Friday’s AJC story by Jeff Sentell.

Jackson told the AJC that UGA will be in it “until the very end,” along with Auburn.

Here’s his top 10 list (in order, as confirmed by the AJC): Ohio State/Auburn, Georgia, USC, Florida, Alabama, Clemson, LSU, Ole Miss, South Carolina.

Jackson, a 4-star prospect from Cedar Grove High School, is rated as the state’s No. 4 prospect and is one of the most sought after high school players in the nation. He has 42 scholarship offers.

The nearly 6-foot-3, 300-pounder can bench press 325 pounds and squat another 450. With that strength, I don’t think there’s a more perfect nickname for Jackson. His mother gave him the nickname Hercules when he was “about two seconds old.”
