Julian Rochester, the state's No. 2 overall college football prospect, committed to UGA on Thursday evening.

Both Rivals and Scout reported earlier on Thursday that the 5-star defensive tackle from McEachern High School had committed to UGA. But another recruiting website, 247sports.com, quoted Rochester as saying “I have not committed yet.”

Nevertheless, by the end of the day, the confusion was settled when Rochester tweeted out his UGA commitment with a pair of photos with the Bulldog coaches.
