ATHENS – Well, the flips just keep on coming.
Shaquery Wilson, a longtime UGA commitment as a defensive back who flipped to West Virginia so he could play wide receiver, flipped back. That’s according to the Miami Herald, who had a freelance reporter at Wilson’s signing ceremony Wednesday in Coral Gables.
UGA confirmed receiving Wilson’s letter-of-intent a short time later.
It’s unclear what position Wilson might play with the Bulldogs. Georgia needs help at both wide receiver and in the defensive backfield. The 6-foot-3, 190-pound Wilson, who starred at Senior High in Coral Gables, apparently is proficient on both sides of the ball.
