UGA offered both of Creekside High School’s offensive linemen committed to other SEC schools this week.
Venzell Boulware, who is pledged to Tennessee, liked the UGA offer so much that he tentatively planned to take an official visit with the Bulldogs this weekend. But he later changed his mind.

UGA still has a chance to wine and dine Marquel Harrell, who is committed to Auburn.
Harrell visits Auburn this weekend, but is considering recruiting trips to UGA on Jan. 23 and Florida on Jan. 30. He’s a 4-star rated as the state’s No. 22 overall prospect.
Said Harrell: “The (UGA coach) was like, ‘I don’t want you to be mad at Georgia or anything like that. The new coaches are getting situated here. We’ve looked at a lot of film, and we want you.’ They said they couldn’t see how the old coaching staff didn’t offer me.”
What was Harrell’s reaction to the offer? “It is a good to know that I can stay home now, if I want to do that. But I’m pretty solid to Auburn. I told Georgia that I would give them a look.”
What’s the next step for Harrell? He will discuss everything with his family before finalizing any visits after this weekend.
“People ask me if it bothers me that Georgia waited this late to offer, but it doesn’t,” Harrell said. “They (UGA) explained it to me. They said ‘If we had been here earlier, we would’ve have offered you.’ It’s good. It was their second day in the office, and they offered me. So that made me feel good.”
One of Harrell’s Creekside teammates, wide receiver Jayson Stanley, is committed to UGA.
