Sunny and cold weather expected throughout Sunday

ATLANTA FORECAST:

Today: Sunny, with a high of 39 and a low of 18.

“It may not feel quite as cold to you this afternoon because it’s just not going to be quite as windy,” Channel 2 Action News meteorologist Brian Monahan said Sunday.

Monday: Temperatures could rise to 47 with a low of 26.

Tuesday: 30 percent chance of mixed snow/showers. Minimal impact to travel expected.

Monahan predicted a "bitterly cold blast" moving in on by Wednesday.
