Say goodbye to dry days, metro Atlanta.

Humidity and wet weather are in Wednesday’s forecast.

Parts of metro Atlanta had already picked up spotty showers by 2 p.m., according to Channel 2 Action News. Those showers will taper off everywhere except a few spots south of Griffin and east of Athens, the television station reported.

“We’ll get better chances for rain tomorrow,” meteorologist Karen Minton said.

Showers and isolated thunderstorms are expected to last through the rush hour Wednesday and keep temperatures below the 90-degree mark.

Temperatures were 85 degrees in Atlanta, 75 in Blairsville and 79 in Griffin just before 9:30 p.m. Tuesday.
