Sunny skies and dry heat are here to stay, metro Atlanta.
The trend through Sunday will be lows in the upper 60s and low 70s followed by highs in the 90s, according to Channel 2 Action News.
Rain is not in the forecast until Sunday, when there is a 10 percent chance of precipitation.
“It’s going to be toward the end of the weekend before we see some of that moisture that’s gathering back toward the west,” meteorologist Brad Nitz said.
Temperatures were 80 degrees in Atlanta, 69 degrees in Blairsville and 70 degrees in Griffin just before 10:30 p.m. Wednesday.
The expected high through Friday is 93 degrees.
