There are no signs of Hurricane Irma in metro Atlanta.

Currently, the temperature is 73 degrees and few clouds are hanging around, according to Channel 2 Action News.

And the high of 80 degrees Friday fell short of the average high of 85.

“Below-average numbers (are) on tap not only today, but into the weekend as well,” Channel 2 meteorologist Katie Walls said.

Atlanta could see another 80-degree day Saturday before the high drops to 75 Sunday and 70 Monday and Tuesday. Gusts up to 25 mph are possible this weekend.

Metro Atlanta is not expected to see the effects of Hurricane Irma until Monday, Channel 2 reported.

If the current model holds, the metro area could get sustained winds of 40 mph, gusts up to 60 mph and between 3 and 6 inches of rain.
