If 2013 will fly by as fast as January did, it will be summertime before you know it!

That’s why it’s key to land deals this winter for those upcoming friends and family getaways. Here are two superb airfare deals to jump on:

Both AirTran and Frontier Airlines offer a one-way rate of $98.90 to Denver, Colo. Trips are valid seven days a week, based on sale seat availability. There are no blackout dates to avoid and there is no required advance purchase notice. That means you can hit the Rocky Mountain slopes as soon as this weekend. The last permitted day of travel at this rate is July 10 on Frontier; Aug. 9 on AirTran. Both carriers serve Denver with daily nonstop service.

An extremely rare sale rate of $250 is offered to Boise, Idaho when travel is finished on or before Aug. 9. This deal requires an advance purchase notice of 21 or more days. Travel is permitted seven days a week, based on sale seat availability. A minimum stay of three nights is required when departing Atlanta Sundays-Wednesdays. Stay up to 30 days. Blackout dates are March 7-11, 14-18, 21-25, 28-31; April 1, 4-8, 12-14, 19-21 and May 23, 24, 27. Travel with Delta (connection required in Salt Lake City or Minneapolis) or on United (via Chicago or Denver).

Both of these sales do not have a ticket-by date which means the offers could vanish at anytime. Make haste to buy tickets.

Sale airfares are always subject to change. Every seat on every flight is not offered at the lowest rate.

I recommend starting the search for available seats at Kayak.com vs. calling an airline directly. You can also search for the sale at travel websites such as Expedia, Orbitz or Travelocity, etc.
