An extraordinary airfare offer is up for grabs which will get you to the gorgeous Colorado Rocky Mountains for under $200 round-trip.

Call it a fluke of a deal, but hurry to purchase round-trip tickets of $152 ($173.40 including all taxes and fees) to the resort town of Steamboat Springs. The offer comes from Delta and is valid on weekend trips finished on or before March 28 - the airline's last day of seasonal flight service from the Steamboat Springs-Hayden Airport.

To qualify, depart on any available Saturday flight now through late March. Delta has one daily nonstop flight from Atlanta or choose from a selection of flights via Minneapolis-St. Paul or Salt Lake City. The maximum permitted stay is four days, or on the immediately following Tuesday.

Surprisingly, American Airlines matches this weekend offer at $162 round-trip ($183.40 including all extra fees) on trips finished on or before April 5. American serves Steamboat Springs via its Dallas-Fort Worth hub.

There are two catch...

First, we are entering the peak ski season with extended national holiday weekends falling on Valentine's Day weekend. So expect to be very flexible to find available space.

Also, this offer is void of a ticket-by date. This means the rate could vanish in hours.

Don't miss out on this one. This is a terrific savings opportunity and one that will let you experience one of the most beautiful seasons in the Rockies.
