Fly round-trip to Tokyo for under $750

Exceptional airfares have been far and few between so far in this new year. However, I spied an outstanding offer to Asia that saves hundreds of dollars off of regularly published rates.

The deal comes from American Airlines to Tokyo with its published rate of $434 available for purchase through midnight, Wednesday.

This rate is valid only on Saturday service to and from Tokyo through April 24. Travelers can remain in Japan for up to 60 days. Give at least a three-day advance notice of travel.

The total ticket rate, inclusive of all taxes and fees, is $744.10. Compare to Delta's round-trip rate of $1,170.80.

American Airlines serves Tokyo via one flight connection in Chicago O'Hare of Dallas-Fort Worth.
