Delta Air Lines is running a sale on trips to the lovely island of Aruba in the Netherlands Antilles. A sale rate of $134 each way is valid on trips finished on or before Dec. 15. The deal, however, comes with those dreaded blackout dates which surround the Thanksgiving holiday (Nov. 23, 24, 27-29).

Other rules require a ten-day advance notice of travel. This sale rate is valid on Saturdays only. But don't feel that you must stay for one-week. American Airlines also matches this offer with the $134 one-way rate valid Mondays-Thursdays and Saturdays. Other travel days are priced at $164.

Factor in about $25 to cover for taxes, fees, surcharges.

Buy tickets through midnight, Thursday, Aug. 5.

Guests can enjoy a full-service spa, fitness center, water sports, beachside dining and the services of a concierge to arrange island tours and activities.

Book this offer through midnight, Friday, Aug. 6 at Bookit.com:

Sale fares listed here are subject to change. Every seat on every flight is not offered at the lowest rate. Since only a limited supply of seats is available, act quickly to make your purchase. I recommend starting the search for available seats at Kayak.com vs. calling an airline directly. You can also search for the sale at travel Web sites such as Expedia or Travelocity, etc. Airlines can discontinue or pull a sale price without notice when the offer is deemed "sold out," or when that rate does not have a "ticket-by" date.
