The executive director of Austin company Capital Factory Joshua Baer has no doubt that Uber and Lyft will return to the city. Following voters' recent rejection of the controversial Proposition 1, Baer writes that there are two possible scenarios for which the return to take place, and also weighs in on some of the viewpoints surrounding the fingerprinting regulation:

"Some people don't understand why fingerprinting is such a big problem for TNCs and think those companies shouldn't make such a fuss about it. Others believe that it's easy to build to a competing service — I disagree — and that someone else will come to take their place."
