Here's a head's up for yet another preseason deal to the slopes of the Colorado Rocky Mountains!

American Airlines prices one-way trips to Steamboat Springs-Hayden at just $134 ($155.20 including all taxes, fees) on its seasonal flight service which begins Dec. 17 (via Dallas-Fort Worth) through April 5, 2010.

This rate is good on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saturdays. Rates start from $149 each way on Mondays, Fridays. Rates for Sunday travel begin at $175 (a round-trip purchase may be less expensive).

Naturally, there are blackout dates to avoid around peak holiday dates: Nov. 20, 24-25, 28-30; Dec. 18-19, 22-24, 26-31; Jan. 2-4 and Feb. 11-12, 15.

Act fast on this deal as it has no ticket-by date. That means this rate could vanish within hours.

The earlier the better (late works, too!) when it comes to landing the lowest priced lodging and ski lift passes in Steamboat.

Book a lodging and lift ticket package with Steamboat Central Reservations for Nov. 25 through Dec. 18 stays or from April 4-11 at per person rates as low as $119, double occupancy.

The deal is valid on three-night minimum stays (motel accommodations) and includes free two-day lift tickets. Extra lift tickets are $50 per day. Also, 20 percent discounts are included on ski or board rentals (25 percent off teen rentals).

Ski Town, U.S.A. is famous for its powder snow, family programs, abundant activities and a laid-back genuine Western atmosphere.
