League MVP or Super Bowl 51 MVP?

Both Atlanta Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan and New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady had exceptional seasons before they met up in Super Bowl 51, but who was better?

In passes 20 or more yards downfield, Ryan reigns supreme.

Ryan's completion percentage in 2016 was 60.0 percent while Brady's was 54.3 percent.

Ryan threw 1334 yards, threw 13 touchdowns, no interceptions and had a passer rating of 138.2 on passes 20 or more yards downfield.

Brady fell short of Ryan's numbers totaling 1164 yards, 11 touchdowns, one interception and a passer rating of 129.5.

The Falcons will have a chance to redeem their Super Bowl loss to the Patriots when the two teams face off on Oct. 22 in Foxborough, Mass.
