During the opening minutes of Sunday’s game against the New York Knicks, the Atlanta Hawks demonstrated determination and teamwork.

In one instance, Dennis Schroder and Ersan Ilyasova pressured Knicks’ Kristaps Porzingis and knocked the ball out of his hands. The ball was picked up by Taurean Prince who, when on the other side of the floor, passed the ball to Ilysova who sank a shot near the 3-point line.

Ilysova’s score gave the Hawks a 6-2 lead early in the first quarter.

Porzingis finished the game with 30 points, eight rebounds and two assists.

The Hawks, who travel to Cleveland on Tuesday to play the Cavaliers, lost to the Knicks 111-107.
