Celtics star Kyrie Irving had 11 assists in a losing effort Thursday night against the Houston Rockets, but the Boston point guard’s biggest assist came before the NBA game.
In a video given to TMZ Sports, Irving is shown giving a homeless man $240, according to Bleacher Report.
Irving was headed to the Celtics' team bus before Thursday's game when he stopped to help the man, the website reported. The video was shot by Thomas Moreno on his cellphone, according to Bleacher Report.
Irving scored 23 points and had four rebounds during the Celtics’ 127-113 loss.
