During the opening round of the LPGA's Bank of Hope Founders Cup in Phoenix, Mel Reid was hitting her second shot on the 16th hole at the Wildfire Golf Club when a bobcat could be seen trotting behind her, according to Bleacher Report.

Reid completed her shot without a hitch and apparently was unaware the animal was behind her, Golf.com reported.

After seeing the video, Reid retweeted and poked fun at her caddie, Mark Wallington, the website reported.

Reid shot 1-over-par 73 and followed it with a 73 Friday to miss the cut.
