New York Yankees rookie Aaron Judge broke the all-time rookie record for home runs in a season during Monday’s game against the Kansas City Royals.

On a 2-1 count in the seventh inning, Judge blasted his 50th home run of the season to to deep left, breaking Mark McGwire's rookie record set it 1987.

Judeg tied McGwire’s record in the third inning when he hit his 49th homer of the year to right field.

Judges' solo homer gave the Yankees a 7-3 lead.

The Yankees (87-69) went on to win, 11-3.
