The moment former Maryland point guard Kevin Huerter was drafted by the Atlanta Hawks with the 19th overall pick in Thursday’s NBA Draft was caught on film.

After Hunter heard his name being called, a roar broke out among friends and family in attendance at Hunter’s watch party.

The watch party was held at a local country club near Hunter's home in Clifton Park, N.Y., according to a report by the Baltimore Sun's Don Markus.

In this sophomore season at Maryland, Hunter averaged 14.8 points, five rebounds, 3.4 assists and 0.7 blocks while shooting 50.3 percent from the field and 41.7 percent beyond the arc.
