The Reds’ future third baseman is looking pretty good.

Nick Senzel clubbed two homers in Double-A Pensacola’s 11-2 win over Mobile Sunday, continuing what’s been an unparalleled hot streak for the 22-year-old.

Senzel is hitting .377 through 40 games with the Blue Wahoos since starting 3-for-20. He’s slashing .435/.469/.826 in August.

"The power is coming naturally at this point," said Blue Wahoos manager Pat Kelly. "He's not doing anything differently than before. He's just a good hitter who's hitting the ball hard. When you do that and elevate them, they're going to get out. This isn't an easy league or park to hit home runs in, so it's impressive to see the power he's starting to show."

Senzel is ranked baseball’s 11th best prospect by MLB.com, and first in the Reds’ system.
