The moment the Cleveland Browns called former Oklahoma quarterback Baker Mayfield to tell him the team was drafting him first overall Thursday in the 2018 NFL Draft was caught on video.
Mayfield, who did not attend the Draft, was surrounded by family and friends when the Browns called and when his name was called on the NFL Draft broadcast.
The 2017 Heisman Trophy winner led all FBS quarterbacks in completion percentage (70.5) last season while recording 4,627 passing yards, 43 touchdowns and six interceptions.
