UGA safety Knox transferring to Georgia Military College

June 1, 2009Georgia free safety John Knox is transferring to Georgia Military College for academic reasons, Georgia announced Saturday.
Knox, who is from Statesboro, will enroll at Georgia Military this summer. He redshirted in 2007 and played in 12 games last season, most of the time on special teams, and made eight tackles.
