And just like that, the Georgia Tech-Tulane game is back on.

Hours after Tech announced that Tulane had cancelled its four-game series with the Yellow Jackets due to concerns that its new stadium wouldn’t be ready in time for its Sept. 6 game, Tulane put out a news release late Friday stating the game will be played.

“Tulane University and Georgia Tech are pleased to announce that their previously scheduled football game will be played Sept. 6 in New Orleans,” read the beginning of a statement from Tulane.

Tulane is attempting to complete its new Yulman Stadium in time for the game. If the facility is not ready by that point, the game will be played at the Louisiana Superdome.
