Here are 10 big plays from the 49-year history of the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl:

10. 2013: Toney Hurd Jr. sets the longest interception return record

In one of the most widely entertaining Chick-fil-A Peach Bowls, Texas A&M defeated Duke 52-48. The Aggies trailed the Blue Devils 38-17 at halftime, but rallied behind Heisman Trophy winner Johnny Manziel. He got a little bit of help though. Texas A&M was down 48-45 with 3:33 left in the fourth quarter when Aggies cornerback Toney Hurd Jr. stepped in front of a pass, picked it off, and returned the interception 55 yards for a touchdown, securing the Aggies victory.

9. 1995: Hines Ward sets bowl record for total offense

For those who don’t remember, Hines Ward was a pretty good quarterback in his sophomore season at Georgia before he made the transition to wide receiver. His skills as a passer were on full display as he threw for 413 yards in the 1995 Peach Bowl -- en route to setting the individual bowl record for total offense with 469 yards. He added a rushing touchdown in the game, helping Georgia overcome a 24-6 deficit at one point. However, it wasn’t enough as his Bulldogs lost to the Virginia Cavaliers 34-27.

8. 2012: Chandler Catanzaro boots game-winning field goal

In the first matchup of 10-win teams in Peach Bowl history, the Clemson Tigers defeated the LSU Tigers thanks to the right foot of kicker Chandler Catanzaro. His 37-yarder as time expired gave Clemson a 25-24 victory. Spurred by a late passing attack by quarterback Tajh Boyd, Clemson went 60 yards in just 1:39 during the game’s final drive to setup the game-winning kick. Wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins was Boyd’s favorite target on the final drive. He hauled in three passes, including a 26-yard catch on fourth-and-16 to keep the drive alive. Hopkins set an individual Peach Bowl record for most passes caught in a game, with 13 for 191 yards.

7. 2004: Devin Hester returns blocked punt for touchdown

It never mattered whether it was a kickoff, interception, catch or blocked kick, when Devin Hester got the football in his hands, he always found a way to reach the end zone. In the 2004 Chick-fil-A Bowl, which pitted the Miami Hurricanes against their in-state rival Florida, Hester scooped up a blocked field-goal attempt on the Gators’ opening drive and returned the ball 78 yards for a touchdown. 6. 2007: Auburn wins first overtime game in Peach Bowl history

The Chick-fil-A Bowl’s 40th game, between No. 15 Clemson and No. 22 Auburn, lived up to the hype as it became the first overtime game in Chick-fil-A Bowl history. In the extra period, Clemson settled for a 25-yard field goal. Auburn didn’t want to play for the tie on their possession. Quarterback Brandon Cox ran for two yards on a fourth-and-1 to keep the drive alive. Three plays later, running back Kodi Burns scampered for a 7-yard touchdown run that gave Auburn the 23-20 win.

5. 1991: East Carolina rallies to win

In the final bowl game at Atlanta-Fulton County Stadium, East Carolina rallied from a 17-point fourth quarter deficit to secure an epic 37-34 comeback win against in-state rival N.C. State. Pirates quarterback Jeff Blake led the charge throwing for 378 yards and four touchdowns -- which was a Peach Bowl record. He completed the last of the touchdowns to tight end Luke Fisher with 1:32 remaining to give ECU the 37-34 lead. The Pirates completed the comeback when the Wolfpack’s Damon Hartman booted a 49-yard field-goal attempt short and wide right as time expired.

4. 1993: Terry Smith scores game-winning TD in final seconds

Clemson was winning down-to-the-wire games long before the national-championship game last season. In the 1993 Peach Bowl, Clemson defeated Kentucky on a 21-yard touchdown pass with 20 seconds remaining in the game. The Tigers were the beneficiaries of a bad mistake by the Wildcats. With less than one minute remaining on the clock Clemson quarterback Patrick Sapp threw an interception to Kentucky linebacker Marty Moore, but Moore, instead of downing the ball so that the Wildcats could run out the clock, attempted a return and fumbled the ball, with Clemson recovering. A few plays later Sapp hit Terry Smith for the game-winning score.

3. 2001: Auburn defenders combine for acrobatic interception

It was one of the finer defensive plays anyone will ever see in college football. In the 2001 Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl, Auburn faced off against North Carolina. The Tigers trailed the Tar Heels 16-0 in the third quarter when the Auburn defense tried to spark a rally. The Auburn defensive line got pressure on North Carolina quarterback Darian Durant forcing him to try and throw the football away. He didn’t throw it far enough out of bounds, however, which allowed for Auburn’s Karlos Dansby to jump over the out-of-bounds line and while falling backward toss the football to Dontarious Thomas for the interception. However, the Tar Heels went on to win 16-10.

2. 1995: Demetrius Allen returns late kickoff for touchdown

The Virginia Cavaliers watched their 24-6 lead over the Georgia Bulldogs in the 1995 Peach Bowl slowly dissipate, until eventually the Bulldogs trailed by just one score. Then with 1:09 remaining, Georgia’s Jason Ferguson picked up a Virginia fumble and returned it 10 yards for a touchdown to tie the game at 27. But Virginia’s Demetrius Allen was there to save the day for the Cavaliers on the ensuing kickoff. He zigged and zagged for record-setting and game-winning 83-yard kickoff-return touchdown that resulted in a 34-27 Cavaliers win.

1. 2013: Johnny Manziel magically escapes for touchdown throw

Of all the crazy, unbelievable plays Johnny Manziel made throughout his career at Texas A&M, the play he manufactured in the 2013 Chick-fil-A Bowl might have been the craziest and most unbelievable. In the Aggies’ first drive of the second half -- where they trailed Duke 38-17 -- Manziel managed to somehow escape the pocket after trying to hurdle a defender and bumping into an offensive lineman. He rolled to his left and hit a wide-open Travis Labhart for a 19-yard touchdown to spark an Aggies comeback. Texas A&M went on to win 52-48 behind the Heisman Trophy winner’s 455 total yards and five total touchdowns.
