The Yellow Jackets are an early favorite for Niceville, Fla. junior Juanyeh Thomas.

The 6-foot-2, 204 pound defensive back told Benjamin Wolk of SEC Country one of his favorite schools at the end of his junior season is Georgia Tech.

Also in Thomas’ top three are Auburn and Florida.

“Those are basically my top three right now, but I would say Auburn is my favorite now,” Thomas said, according to Wolk. “I’ve visited Auburn, Georgia Tech and Florida. Auburn just gives you that home feeling.”

Although Georgia Tech isn’t Thomas’ favorite school in May, the Yellow Jackets still have some time to convince the 3-star who plays cornerback and wide receiver for Niceville High School.

Georgia Tech paid a recruiting visit to Niceville on Wednesday, according to a Niceville Football Twitter post.

Wolk reports Thomas doesn’t have a strict timeline in his decision process, but he does plan to visit his top three schools again before he verbally commits.

“More offers are coming in now. I want to wait and take visits to all my favorite places. Then I’ll make a decision probably before our regular season,” Thomas said, according to Wolk. “If (Clemson, Louisville and Alabama) offered, that would probably change my game plan, but for now, I’m rolling with Auburn, Florida and Georgia Tech.”
