Bucs CB Darrelle Revis vs. Falcons WR Harry Douglas: Revis was considered the top cornerback in the NFL before suffering a knee injury. In recent weeks, he's shown signs of slippage. He was caught looking for safety help last week in Philadelphia. Douglas normally is the slot receiver, but will step into the No. 1 receiver role with Julio Jones out and Roddy White likely out. He has 16 catches for 219 yards and no touchdowns this season.
Bucs WR Vincent Jackson vs. Falcons CB Desmond Trufant: Jackson is the favorite target for rookie quarterback Mike Glennon. He caught nine passes for 114 yards and two touchdowns last week against Philadelphia. The three-time Pro Bowler led the NFL by averaging 19.2 yards per catch last season. He has averaged 15.6 yards per catch on 26 receptions for 406 yards this season. Trufant, the Falcons' top draft pick, has played well through five games. He has 23 tackles and five pass breakups.
Bucs RB Doug Martin vs. Falcons LB Stephen Nicholas: He had two strong games against the Falcons last season. He rushed for 50 yards and two touchdowns in a 24-23 win for the Falcons. He ran for 142 yards on 28 carries and one touchdown in the Bucs' 22-17 win at the Georgia Dome. Martin has averaged only 3.5 yards per carry, but has caught 11 passes out of the backfield for 59 yards. The Falcons rank sixth in the league against the run, at 97.4 yards per game, but have yielded more than 100 yards rushing in their past two outings.
