Top rebounder: Forward Christian Watford (5.7 rebounds per game), second on the team after Zeller (6.4), made the last-second 3-pointer that beat then-No. 1 Kentucky on Dec. 10.
Did you know: San Francisco 49ers coach Jim Harbaugh and Baltimore Ravens coach John Harbaugh are brothers of Crean's wife, Joani.
Why they matter: After a 28-66 record in his first three seasons at Indiana -- including 12-20 last season -- Crean has sharply turned the Hoosiers' direction this season. Indiana didn't receive a single vote in either preseason poll but now stands No. 7 in the AP poll with wins over Kentucky, Ohio State and Michigan.
