SportSouth will televise 75 regular-season Hawks games during the team’s upcoming season.
The network will also carry one of the Hawks’ six preseason games, an Oct. 8 contest against the Bobcats at U.S. Cellular Center in Asheville, N.C.
Four games that are not currently scheduled to be televised, all home games, include Nov. 9 vs. the Magic, Nov. 15 vs. the 76ers, Dec. 6 vs. the Cavaliers and Dec. 18 vs. the Kings.
The Hawks will have three games nationally televised by ESPN: Nov. 13 vs. the Knicks, March 5 at the Trail Blazers and the regular-season finale on April 16 at the Bucks. NBA TV will air three games also on SportSouth, including the Jan. 16 game against the Nets in London.
Hall of Famer Dominque Wilkins will return for his sixth season as analyst. Bob Rathbun will return for his 18th season as the team’s play-by-play announcer. Andre Aldridge will serve as sideline reporter. The network will air pre- and post-game shows with Jerome Jurenovich and Mike Glenn.
The Hawks open training camp on Oct. 1 and the regular season begins Oct. 30 at the Mavericks.
