Florida School Shooting: Sports figures react to football coach’s heroic act
Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School assistant football coach Aaron Feis was recognized and honored by the sports world Thursday after he sacrificed his life to save students.
Feis was one of 17 victims who died when a 19-year-old gunman opened fire with a semi-automatic rifle at his former high school in Parkland, Fla., according to a report by NBC News. NBC News also reported 14 others were wounded in the shooting.

MS Douglas confirmed Feis died early Thursday on Twitter from wounds sustained from shielding students from gunfire.
It is with Great sadness that our Football Family has learned about the death of Aaron Feis. He was our Assistant Football Coach and security guard.
