The last time the two teams met in 2014, the Bulldogs avenged their 2013 loss to the Tigers with a 45-21 victory in Sanford Stadium. Now that the College Football Playoff has put both teams under an even brighter spotlight, fans are anticipating future matchups to be even more intense.

Dabo Swinney says he absolutely wants Georgia and Clemson play every year. I would love to see this rivalry come back. What do you think #DawgNation? #GoDawgs #DawgsOnTop 💯🐾🐶

But not everyone is on board with the two powerhouses clashing every season.
A bit ambitious to say UGA and Clemson should play annually.

I personally would love to see the rivalry renewed every 4-6 years. Home and home. But annually would all but eliminate any chance of future fun matchups with other big-time Power 5 schools. And that's a shame.
Though nothing has been officially announced yet, Georgia fans wasted no time when reminding the Clemson faithful what went down the last time the Tigers visited Athens.
